Researcher
Yongjun Song is a researcher at the Mind Computation Lab. He holds a B.Arch and M.S. in Architecture, concentrating in Design Computation at Inha University, South Korea. He is involved in national and industrial research projects investigating the development of human behavior simulation and AI-driven design automation. His interdisciplinary computational work explores computational design and building performance evaluation methods that incorporate human factors.
Song's master's thesis investigated the impacts of human behavior simulation on healthcare design and management. He developed a computer vision-powered social dynamics model to support the maintenance of relationships between patients and caregivers and social distancing analytics in healthcare settings. Prior to master's thesis, the vision perception-equipped evacuee's agent that he and his colleagues developed has been published in eCAADe.
